According to the Spanish Association of Paint and Printing Ink Manufacturers (ASEFAPI), of which Tintas Arzubialde is a member, the general situation of raw materials, as of December 2021, is still marked by uncertainty.
Companies continue to experience a lack of sufficient resins, dispersions and emulsions and prices continue to rise. There are difficulties in obtaining some additives and prices are high, and shipping, due to costs and container shortages, remains a major problem.
The outlook for the next three months is expected to remain the same, if not worsen somewhat, with an improvement in the second half of 2022.
